Exciting News from Life Church!

January Water Baptisms

Water baptism is a public declaration of the transformation that has already taken place in you as a born-again believer. Jesus commanded all Christians to be baptized after they are saved, and we’re excited to celebrate this powerful step of obedience with you. Our next baptism will take place on Sunday, January 18, during the 10am service. If you’re ready to take this next step in your faith and publicly declare your commitment to Jesus, sign up through the Realm app. Let’s celebrate this life-changing decision together.

Encounter Night: Sunday, January 11th at 6pm

January Prayer

This year, instead of starting the New Year with a week of prayer, we’re doing a month of prayer. We are calling for 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting from Jan. 5-25th. We will have “Ignite” Prayer meetings on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 14, and 21 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. We will also be providing a 21 Day Devotional for the entire congregation to use during our 21 days of Prayer and Fasting. Finally, we want to pray for EVERY home in Roscoe during our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. In the lobby this Sunday, you can select one or more streets you would be willing to pray for each day, Jan. 5th-25th.

SOLIDARITY SUNDAY

Help us welcome the Jewish Community of Rockford to our services on January 25^th as we celebrate Solidarity Sunday. This is a day we refuse to remain silent and raise our voices against the rising tide of antisemitism in our nation against the Jewish community. We want them to know we stand with them! We will be having a special guest speaker that day who served in the IDF during the most recent Gazan War. Let’s come out in mass to welcome and support the Jewish community and show our solidarity!
