“Love In Action” is an annual event in which as we put Christ’s love on display by serving our communities. This is a special week where we focus our time and resources to those around us.
Habitat For Humanity
Habitat For Humanity focuses on providing homes for families and individuals who seek to own homes but have found themselves struggling to do so. By partnering with this organization, we help build, plant, and prep a home for a family to move into.
Shelter Cares
Shelter Care provides clothes, furniture, toiletries, and other necessities for families and individuals who are in need. We partner with them by giving donations and assisting with preparing the donation to give to families.
Merrill Community Garden
The Merrill Community Garden provides the broader community with free, fresh produce. Come volunteer to assist with weeding, cleaning, and repainiting murals in this Beloit area garden.
Rock House Kids
Rock House Kids focuses on providing a nuturing environment for Rockford’s inner-city kids, feeding meals and sharing the hope of Jesus.
United Way: Strong Neighborhood Houses
“Strong Neighborhood Houses make a strong community.” These houses help to reduce poverty and build hope for families. They create educational opportunites and activities for kids and host block parties for residents.
