Sound of Music - Week 1

Sound of Music - I Sing Because...

Psalms 100:3-5

Genesis 22:5

Ephesians 5:18-20 (AMP)
18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit.
19 Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [and instruments] and making melody with all your heart to the Lord,
20 At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

I sing because… Response:

Psalms 8:2/ Matthew 21:16

I sing because… He asked

1 Chronicles 16:23-31
"Let the whole earth sing to the LORD! Each day proclaim the good news that He saves. Publish His glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things He does. Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be revered above all gods. The gods of other nations are merely idols, but the LORD made the heavens! Honor and majesty surround Him; strength and beauty are in his dwelling. O nations of the world, recognize the LORD, recognize that the LORD is glorious and strong. Give to the LORD the glory He deserves! Bring your offering and come to worship Him. Worship the LORD in all His holy splendor. Let all the earth tremble before Him. The world is firmly established and cannot be shaken. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice! Tell all the nations that the LORD is king.

Paul said-1 Corinthians 14:15b… I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.

Say it!!!

Worship is having a revelation about God and responding to Him.

An unveiling of what was always true, whether as enduring reality, past event, or foreordained future.

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” – A.W. Tozer

If your revelation of God is small, your worship will be small.
